We went down to the hotel restaurant which turned out to be a fancy place (unexpected). We asked if we could sit at the bar and were told no so we got a table. We ordered a couple of cosmos to start it off right and we each started with the salmon tartar.
I got the tenderloin, Ann got the duck.
We wanted to end the night with espresso martinis but they didn't know how to make them; so we got Baileys instead.
So, I get it was a nice restaurant, and I get they're European here so everything is slow paced, but dear Lord I felt like we were there for hours (and it turns out we were!). By the end I wanted to poke my eye out with the sword pick just to keep things lively.
After dinner we decided to call it a night. We cranked up the heat in the room so we could enjoy one final night of warmth before freezing our arses off tomorrow! Somehow Ann got a hold of Super G and cuddled up with him as she went to sleep (have no fear, I pried him out of her hands and got him back though!).
Now it's 6am and I'm wide awake. Thinking today we'll hit old Quebec and maybe the aquarium before we check in at the ice hotel. Weather forecast according to Ann: it's dank and dreary out there.
We have no data service here so we're on hotel wifi for now. Not sure if the ice hotel will have wifi so we'll do our best to keep posting. Wish us luck!

Seems like down south...order your first two drinks..when they finally get there order next two by the time they get there you will be ready for them....continue this until done drinking....
